The House was adjourned (fn. *) during Pleasure; and the Lords went to the Abby, to hear the Fast Sermons.

The House was resumed.

Thanks to the Preachers at the Fast.

Ordered, That Dr. Smyth and Dr. Staunton shall have Thanks returned them, for their Pains in preaching this Day; and they are desired to print and publish their Sermons.

Preachers for the 5th of November.

Ordered, That Mr. Strikland and Mr. Spurstow are hereby appointed to preach before the Lords in Parliament, in the Abby Church in Westm. upon the 5th of November next.

Ditto for the next Fast.

Ordered, That Mr. Hill and Mr. Henry Wilkinson are hereby appointed to preach before the Lords in Parliament, in the Abby Church of Westm. the Day of the next Public Fast.
