Next, Herne the Printer was brought to the Bar, for
printing divers scandalous Pamphlets; and these Witnesses following were produced, and proved, upon Oath,
that they had the Pamphlets at his House:

His Journeymen sent for.
Herne denied they were printed by his Consent; and
being asked what Servants he had, he named Wm. Gall,
Wm. Hunt, and Edward Bill: Hereupon the House
Ordered, That they shall be sent for, to attend the
House To-morrow Morning, to be examined concerning this Business, at which Time the said Herne is to be
brought again.
Mr. Rodes, a Pass.
Ordered, That Mr. Ric'd Rodes, Equerry to His
Majesty, shall have a Pass, to go to Oxford.
Sir Humphrey Styles, a Pass.
Ordered, That Sir Humphrey Stiles, a Servant to
