PREBENDARY OF BLEWBURY

Thomas Paston 1540-1542.

Pres. by king 28 July 1540 to Paston, esquire, gentleman of the privy chamber (L. & P. xv no. 942 (122)). Instal. by proxy 29 Aug. as preb., but not instal. as canon (CA 14 pt. ii f. 8/p. 15). Paston exch. preb. with bp. for bp's manor of Godalming, Surr., and preb. dissolved by act of parliament, Jan. 1542 (L. & P. XVII no. 28 c. 42).
