The following additional heads of religious houses have been discovered since the foregoing article was written:—

Higham Priory (p. 146): Alice Heron, prioress, resigned 1489 (Pat. 4 Hen. VII, m. 12 (20)).

Malling Abbey (p. 148): Joan Baude, late abbess in 1414, and Isabel Ruton occurs as abbess at same date (De Banco, Trin. 2 Hen. V, 354).

Sheppey Minster (p. 150): Joan Cobbeham, prioress, occurs 1435 (De Banco, Trin. 13 Hen. VI, 410).

Boxley Abbey (p. 155): William, abbot, occurs 1336 (Carte Misc. Bdle, 21, No. 242), and Robert in 1430 (Close, 9 Hen. VI, m. 19d).

Lesnes Abbey (p. 166): Mark, abbot, occurs 1219 (Fines, Essex, 4 Hen. III).

Tonbridge Priory (p. 168): D., prior, died in 1279 and John was elected (Worcs. Epis. Reg., Giffard, p. 107).

Langdon Abbey (p. 171): Stephen, abbot, occurs 1358 (Exch. K.R. Acc., Bdle. 462, No. 19).

St. Radegund's Abbey (p. 174-5): John de Redyng, abbot, occurs 1354 (Exch. K.R. Ace., Bdle. 462, No. 17), and William in 1427, who is described as late abbot in 1437 (De. Banco, Trin. 15 Hen. VI, 128).

Swingfield Preceptory (p. 176): Wuilherm Hulles, preceptor, occurs 1406 (Pat. 1 Hen. V, pt. 5, m. 29).

Mottenden Priory (p. 208): John, minister, occurs 1452 (De Banco, East. 30 Hen. VI, 463).

St. James' Hospital, Canterbury (p. 210): Isabel, prioress, occurs 1437 (De Banco, Mich. 16 Hen. VI, 507).

St. Thomas' Hospital, Canterbury (p. 215): John Neel, master, occurs 1437 (Pardon Roll, 15 Hen. VI, m. 24).

Chatham Hospital (p. 216): Walter, prior, occurs 1414 (Exch. K.R. Acc., Bdle. 214, No. 5).

Milton Hospital (p. 222): John Markhamstede, master, occurs 1414 (De Banco, Trin. 2 Hen. V, 339).

Ospringe Hospital (pp. 223-4): Ellis, son of Hervey, appointed master 1263. Roger Lindested described as late master 1263 (Pat. 47 Hen. III, pt. 1, m. 1); William Gamyn resigned 1413 and John Fakenham appointed (Pat. I Hen. V, pt. 4, m. 16), and John Fakenham described as dead in 1418 (Pat. 6 Hen. V, m. 11d); William Palmer appointed 1418 (ibid. m. 20) and resigned 1422 (Pat. 9 Hen. V, pt. 2, m. 8); James Jerkevylle appointed 1422 (ibid).
