PRAYERS.
Dyke et al. for Spreat to enter into Recognizance for them.
Upon reading the Petition of Thomas Dyke Esquire
and others; praying, "In regard the Petitioners live in
Somersetshire, above One Hundred Miles off, and
cannot enter into a Recognizance, upon their Appeal
depending in this House, within the Time limited
by the Standing Order; that John Spreat, of (fn. *)
Ninehead, in the said County, Gentleman, their Agent,
and of Substance sufficient to answer Costs if any
should be awarded, may be allowed to enter into such
Recognizance for the Appellants:"
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said John Spreat
hath hereby Leave to enter into a Recognizance for the
Appellants, provided no Objection appears to his Security.
Accounts of prohibited E. India Goods, &c. delivered.
The House being informed, "That some of the Commissioners of the Customs attended:"
They were called in, and delivered, at the Bar, pursuant to Acts of Parliament, several Papers, intituled as
follows:
"Report of the Commissioners of the Customs to
the Right Honourable the Lords Spiritual and
Temporal, with the Accounts of prohibited
East India Goods and Naval Stores, from Ladyday 1714 to Michaelmas 1714."
N°1. "An Account of the prohibited East India
Goods remaining in the several Warehouses in the
Port of London at Lady-day 1714; with what has been
brought in since that Time, what exported, and what
remained at Michelmas 1714."
2. "An Account of the prohibited East India Goods
remaining in the respective Warehouses of the Outports, at Lady-day 1714; what brought in since that
Time, what exported, as also what remained at
Michaelmas 1714."
N° 3. "An Account of Naval Stores imported from
Russia into the Port of London, from Lady-day 1714
to Michaelmas 1714."
4. "An Account of Naval Stores imported from
Russia into the Ports commonly called the Out-ports,
from Lady-day 1714 to Michaelmas 1714."

Morison versus Nisbet et al
Upon reading the Petition of William Morison, of
Preston-Grange, Esquire; setting forth, "That, the last
Parliament, he lodged an Appeal in this House, and
on the Twenty-ninth of June last the same was
ordered to be heard; but, the Parties treating of an
Agreement, upon their Desire, the Hearing was put off
till the next Session, in order to an Accommodation,
which has not taken Effect;" and praying, "That
a short Day may be appointed, for hearing the
Cause:"
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal
in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the
said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Friday the
Twenty-second Day of this Instant April; of which the
Appellant is forthwith to give Notice to all Parties concerned.
