Bishop of Lincoln to preach 7th June.
Ordered, That the Lord Bishop of Lincoln be, and
he is hereby, desired to preach before this House, in the
Abbey Church, Westm'r, on Thursday the Seventh Day
of June next, being the Day appointed by His Majesty's
Proclamation for a public Thanksgiving:
Thanks to Bishop of Bristol, for his Sermon.
Ordered, That the Thanks of this House be, and
are hereby, given to the Lord Bishop of Bristol, for the
excellent Sermon by him preached before this House
Yesterday, in the Abbey Church, Westminster; and he is
hereby desired to cause the same to be forthwith printed
and published.
Highways Bill.
The House (according to Order) was adjourned during
Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for making the Laws for repairing the
Highways more effectual; and for the better paving
and cleansing the Streets in the City of London and
Suburbs thereof."
And, after some Time spent therein, the House was
resumed.
And the Earl of Clarendon reported from the Committee, "That they had made some further Progress in
the Bill; and had directed him to move, that they
may have Leave to sit again."
Ordered, That this House shall be put into a Committee again, to consider further of the said Bill, on Saturday next.

Oaths, Time to take, to prolong, Bill.
Ordered, That this House shall be put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for prolonging the Time for Persons to take the Oaths, pursuant
to the Act for the further Security of His Majesty's
Person and Government; and the Succession of the
Crown in the Heirs of the late Princess Sophia, being
Protestants; and for extinguishing the Hopes of the
pretended Prince of Wales, and his open and secret
Abettors," on Saturday next.
Timber Bill.
Ordered, That this House shall be put into a
Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act to encourage the planting of Timber Trees, Fruit Trees,
and other Trees, for Ornament, Shelter, or Profit;
and for the better Preservation of the same; and for
the preventing the burning of Woods," on Tuesday
next.
Papists, to register their Estates, Bill.
Ordered, That the Bill, intituled, "An Act to oblige
Papists to register their Names and Real Estates," be
read a Second Time on Monday next; and that the Lords
be summoned.
