3. (p. 5) Thursday, 20 May 1714. Present: Mr Woodford, Mr Cooke, Mr Lyell, Mr Houblon, Mr Bagshaw, Mr Trench, Mr Shorey, Mr Daye, Mr Younge.

It having been agreed upon the settling of this club that every member thereof at the first meeting after each Quarter Day shall pay to the Secretary one guinea towards defraying the ordinary and extraordinary charges of the year to be computed from Lady Day 1714.

Ordered, that the Secretary do prepare a list of the names of the members and their quarterly contributions and that the same be laid upon the table every time the club meets.

(p. 6) Every member of the club that has completed his ward book is desired to leave the same with the Secretary.

That the names of the liverymen therein contained may as soon as possible be posted into the books wherein are kept lists of the liveries of the several Companies in this City.

Ordered, that the Secretary do copy the lists of the liveries of the several Companies in so many several books as there are liveries, and that the same books be of the same size of paper and ruling as the specimen now agreed to.

Ordered, that the householders of the several wards be copied in books according (p. 7) to the precincts or divisions in each ward.

Ordered, that the names of the said householders be also copied in ward books, and that the same books be of the like paper and ruling with the specimen now agreed to.

Agreed, that the future meetings of this club be on every Thursday at seven of the clock in the evening.

Agreed, that every member of this club at the weekly meetings do pay two shillings to defray the expenses of the reckoning.
