18 December 1630.

Warrand, preiching.

Ordanes the thesaurer to haue ane warrand for fourtie pund gevin be him to maister Andro Stewart for preitching Godis word, as helper to maister John Maxuell, quhill he transportit his wyff, bairns, and familie to this burghe, and that be the space of fyftein weikis or thairby, as was promeist to the said maister John for his supplie.

Smyth for scherping irones.

Ordanes the thesaurer to give to Gabriell Smythe fywe pund for scharping of the measoun irnes for the work of the Trongait stepill.
