1530. I William Norton of Estrasen orden and make my testament
and last will. My body to be buryd in the church yerde of st Thomas
the appostell in Estrasen. To mr vicar for dyschargyng of my conscience
and to pray for my soule xijd. To the hygh alter for tythys negligently
forgotten iiijd. To our Lady warkes off Lincoln xxd. I wyll that
William Rawlynson, my doughter sonne, have iijl. vjs. viijd. the wich
I had delyveryd to me by obligacion of the chylde frendes, therfore I
will that Richerd Holdworth have the money in hys custody to the
aforesaid William be xviij yeres olde, and then to delyver to him nother
mynyshyd nor incressyd. To Xp'ofer Rawlynson a yow and a lamme,
and the forsayd Richerd Holdeworth to have kepyng therof to he be
xviij yeres olde. Resydewe of goodes to Jennet my wyff and Richard
Holdworth, my sone, the wich I orden executors for to dispose for my
soule and for to pay my dettes as they thynk most expedyent for the

31 July, 1530. I Thomas Langton otherways callyd Cocke, off
Hawe, ordens and makes my testament and last will. My body to be
buryed in the church yerde. To our Lady warke of Lincoln vjd. To the
high alter within the sayd monastery vjd. To our Lady of Walsyngham
iiijd. To the church warke of Hawe, and to the high alter ther. I
will that Alice my wyff haue my house in Hawe that I do dwell in, with
all landes, [etc.], to the same belongyng within the townys and feldes
of Hawe and Hotofte, to the terme of her lyff; [remainder] to John
Langton, my sone, the elder, and to hys heyres of hys body; [remainder]
to John Langton, the yonger, and to hys heyres of hys body. To John
Langton the yonger, and to Elizabeth and Jenet my doughters [goods,
which shall] be in the custody of Alice my wyff unto such tyme as John,
Elizabeth, and Jenet come to xxjty yeres, or ellys be maryed. I make
Alice Langton, my wyff, my executrix, she to pay my dettes and to
minister the resydue of my goodes for the helthe of my soule as she shall
thynke moste expedyent. Thes wytnes, sir Robert Wade, parson of
