ORDERED, That Mr. Salloway, Mr. Spurstoe, and Mr. Rous, do give Thanks to Mr. Hill, Mr. Spurstoe, and Mr. Vine, the Ministers, who, at the Desire of the House, this Day preached before the Commons at St. Margaret's Westminster, being an extraordinary Day of publick Humiliation: And they are to desire them to print their Sermons: And they are to have the usual Privilege, for printing their Sermons, as other Ministers in the like Cases formerly have had.
Raising Money, &c.
Resolved, &c. That the Committee appointed to sit at Merchant Taylors Hall shall have Power to call such to their Assistance as they shall think fit; to put in Execution the Matters referred unto them.
Resolved, &c. That an Ordinance shall be prepared and brought in, to give the publick Faith for such Monies, Arms, Horse, and Ammunition, as shall be subscribed for before this Committee.
Defence of the City.
Mr. Holland, Mr. Trenchard, Mr. Marten, Mr. Ashherst, Mr. Baynton, Mr. Bond, Mr. Hoyle;
This Committee is to advise with the Committee for the Militia, for the Disposal of some Soldiers in such a way as may be most proper and convenient for Defence of the Outworks and City.
Resolved, &c. That Sir Tho. Pelham Baronet, Sir Tho. Parker Knight, be added Committees to the Committees named in the Order of the Eighteenth of this present July; and to have the like Power as those Committees named in that Order have: And are enjoined forthwith to go down into the County of Sussex, to act with the rest of the Committees; and to put in Execution the said Order, in such manner as is thereby appointed and required.
