Details the architecture of the southern areas of the historic parish of Clerkenwell immediately to the north of the City of London, including Clerkenwell Green and the church of St James Clerkenwell. It also includes Charterhouse Square, to the east of the historic parish. To the north and east it covers the Northampton Square area, and Rawstorne Street as far the the Angel, Islington.
